Yalcinkaya Research Group is lead by Dr. Sedat Yalcinkaya within the Department of  Environmental Engineering in Marmara University. Our research focuses on environmental modeling, sustainable solid waste management systems and biogas technologies. We develop simulation and optimization models on various environmental systems with spatial and temporal extents. We aim to develop methods and tools for solid waste management professionals to help them manage their system environmentally and economically effective while keeping their customers satisfied. We also develop operational plans for individual regions.
